Sava first stepped onto a Yoga mat in 1997 as a way to take a step back from life and demanding situation. After that first class, feeling high on life and smiling for the first time in forever, it was a natural progression for Sava to explore the pathways of Yoga in finer detail.
Progressing naturally from a one day a week Hatha practice to twice a week and eventually moving into a daily Iyengar practice in 1999. This is where he explored and formed an understanding and knowledge of the foundations of a committed Yoga practice.
In 2006 Sava commenced his examination of the Ashtanga method, that he has grown to admire and love, and has worked on his Mysore practice ever since, under the watchful eye of Moksha at Yoga Om.
In 2009 Sava completed 200 hours teachers training with Moksha and continues to expand his knowledge through his practice. Sava travels regularly to train and practice with some of the worlds most respected teachers in the UK, Greece and most recently in the US.
"I approach yoga with the openness to experience and a sense of wonder. I love the fact that every time I step onto the mat, I am challenged, inspired and that I learn something new with each and every practice."
